P-Bruins Fall to Wolf Pack 2-0

Hartford, CT - The Providence Bruins fell to the Hartford Wolf Pack 2-0 Wednesday evening at the XL Center. The P-Bruins are back at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Friday versus the Lowell Devils at 7:05 p.m. for Vladimir Sobotka Bobblehead Night.

After a scoreless opening period, the Wolf Pack took a 1-0 lead at the 7:04 mark of the second period. From just inside the blue line Jared Nightingale tallied his first goal of the season, with Jordan Owens and Vladimir Denisov getting the assists. Hartford took a 1-0 lead into the second intermission.

In the third period, while on the power play and with the P-Bruins goaltender pulled, the Wolf Pack added an insurance goal at the 19:38 mark. Greg Moore scored his seventh goal of the season, unassisted as Hartford went on to the 2-0 victory.

Tuukka Rask stopped 31 of 32 shots for the P-Bruins, while Miika Wiikman made 15 saves for the Wolf Pack. The P-Bruins were 0-for-2 on the power play and 5-for-6 on the penalty kill.
