Upcoming week of December 8th - December 14th

Tuesday, December 9th - Join the Condors as they host the Charlotte Checkers for WB 12, KISS 96.5 & Golden Empire Transit Student ID Discount Night. All college, high school, and junior high school students receive $1.00 lower level admission by presenting a valid student ID. Also, the first 2,000 fans will receive a pair of Condors ThunderStix. The night includes the California Office of Traffic Safety Condors Safety Fair. The California Office of Traffic Safety and other participating agencies will display and give lessons on various safety issues throughout the Centennial Garden Concourse. Vince and Larry, the crash test dummies, will also be on hand.

Thursday, December 11th - Condors players Jason Jackman and Todd Alexander will be at College Heights Elementary School from 1:30pm - 2:30pm for a T.H.I.N.K. (Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge) program appearance. The Condors T.H.I.N.K. program is sponsored by 101.5 KGFM & ARRC Technology. College Heights Elementary School is located at 2551 Sunny Lane.

Thursday, December 11th - Join the "Voice of the Condors", Kevin Bartl as he hosts the Condors Coach's Show on KGEO AM 1230 live from the Holiday Inn Select's Q Street Bistro from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Head Coach Paul Kelly as well as Andrew Ianiero will be guests on the show. The Holiday Inn Select is located at 801 Truxtun, on the corner of Q Street and Truxtun.

Friday, December 12th - The Condors host the Charlotte Checkers as FOX Sports 800 & The Bakersfield Ice Sports Center present Player Poster Giveaway Night. All fans in attendance will receive a Player Poster. The night is the R&D Leather Furniture / Stay Focused Ministries Toy Drive. Fans can receive $1.00 terrace admission with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy. Friday is also a 101.5 KGFM & ARRC Technology T.H.I.N.K. (Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge) Night. The T.H.I.N.K. program allows students to earn complimentary terrace level admission to Friday's game through exceptional performance.

Saturday, December 13th - Condors Kevin Riehl and Johan Astrom will be attending the Seventh Annual Make-A-Wish Christmas Party from 10:30am - 11:30am. The party is for all Kern County Wish Kids, their families, and Make-A-Wish volunteers. The party will be held at the Eagles Aerie Lodge # 93 located at 1718 17th Street in Bakersfield.

Saturday, December 13th - The Bakersfield Condors will be at the Grand Opening of the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center. The Condors will start the day with an open practice beginning at 12:15pm. Following practice, the Condors will be on the ice during the public skating session as well as signing autographs and assisting fans as they sharpen their shooting skills at the Condors Slapshot. Don't forget to say hello to Colonel Claw'd and Cal, the baby Condor. The Bakersfield Ice Sports Center is located at 1325 Q Street. Call 852-7400 for more information.

Saturday, December 13th - Condors wingers Jason Ralph and Vince Malts will be celebrity bartenders for the Arts Council of Kern at the Alley Cat from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. The Alley Cat is located at 1525 Wall Street.

Sunday, December 14th - Come see the Condors when they battle the Idaho Steelheads as Bright House Networks & Kelly 95.3 welcome The Wild Thornberry's to Centennial Garden for this special 5:00pm start. Enjoy the Thornberry kids (Wild Boy Donnie & his caretaker sister Eliza) as they entertain fans. Also, Bright House Networks subscribers can receive $5.00 terrace admission per person by presenting the coupon available in their cable bill. The night is also a Condors Kids Club Night. The Condors Kids Club is sponsored by Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian, Cold Stone Creamery & Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. All Kids Club members receive free admission to Sunday's game. The Condor Kids Club membership includes admission to five weekend Condors games, a Kids Club T-shirt, a $5.00 savings account at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, a membership ID card, and exclusive parties with players and mascots, all for just $20.00. Tickets to all Condors home games can be purchased at the Centennial Garden box office, open from 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturdays, with extended hours on event days (opens at noon on Sunday). Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
