The Royals were happy to return home this week after finishing off their season high five-game road trip. Reading ended their Southern Division tour in South Carolina. The Stingrays jumped on top of the Royals 3-0 and held on to beat Reading 3-2 Tuesday night. Friday and Saturday, the Royals hosted the Roanoke Express to finish off seven straight games against Southern Division foes. Reading picked up their first two wins ever against the Express in the Sovereign Center in Reading. The Royals 3-1 victory Friday, and 4-2 win Saturday lifted their home record against Roanoke to 2-6-1.

Reading starts the first of 14 straight games against Northern Division opponents this week. The Royals travel to Dayton for their first battle against the Dayton Bombers on Friday night. Reading returns home for a pair of games Saturday and Sunday against Trenton and Toledo, respectively. Saturday night it's the annual ‘Teddy Bear Toss' after the Royals first goal is scored, plus the first 2,000 fans in attendance receive Royals thunderstix courtesy of the Council on Chemical Abuse. Sunday afternoon is Caps for Kids Jersey Patch night with a live jersey auction following the game to benefit Caps For Kids.

GAME NOTES: The Stingrays downed the Royals, 3-2, handing Reading its fourth loss in its last five games. The defeat concluded the Royals' longest road trip of the season (1-4-0). Reading goaltender Cody Rudkowsky made 27 saves in the losing effort. Kent Davyduke tallied a shorthanded goal, the Royals third this season.

Friday, November 5 vs. Roanoke Sovereign Center 7:05PM

GAME NOTES: Trailing 1-0 in the second period, the Royals responded with three unanswered goals, defeating the Express, 3-1. Defenseman Dean Arsene recorded his first point in a Royals' sweater, as Reading moved to 5-1-1 at home this season. Forwards Kent Davyduke, Nick Lent, and Judd Medak scored for the Royals.

Saturday, November 6 vs. Roanoke Sovereign Center 7:05PM

GAME NOTES: Royals' captain Brad Church notched the game-winner with just 1:30 remaining in regulation, as Reading downed Roanoke, 4-2. Cody Rudkowsky picked up his eighth win of the season, as the Royals won for the fifth straight time at the Sovereign Center.

Friday, December 12 @ Dayton Nutter Center 7:00PM

GAME NOTES: The first of three meetings between the Bombers and Royals with two games being played in the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. The two teams met once last season with Dayton winning in Reading, 4-1. Overall, the Royals are 3-3-0 against the Bombers.

Saturday, December 13 vs. Trenton Sovereign Center 7:05PM

GAME NOTES: This game marks the third meeting of the season between the Royals and Titans and the first in Reading. The Royals have won the prior two meetings in Trenton. Reading beat Trenton on October 17, 6-1, and on November 11, 3-2 in an overtime shootout. Reading is 7-13-2 against the Titans in their history.

Sunday, December 14 vs. Toledo Sovereign Center 5:05PM

GAME NOTES: Reading and Toledo meet for the fourth time this season. The Royals are 1-0-2 against the Storm so far this season. Reading met Toledo in back-to-back games in Toledo on October 24 & 25. The Royals were downed in a shootout 5-4, then came back the next night to win 5-2. Toledo topped Reading 2-1 in overtime in their only other meeting in Reading on November 14.
