
Everblades Capture Third Straight Home Sweep

The Florida Everblades picked up their third consecutive home sweep this past weekend after defeating the Greenville Grrrowl 6-1 and 4-2. Florida currently holds the second best record in the ECHL (14-4-4, 32 pts.) and is 8-0-2 at home this season. Forward Brian McCullough ranks first in the ECHL in scoring with 35 points and first in goal scoring with 16. Forward Keith Anderson is tied for third in the ECHL in scoring with 31 points. The Blades take on the Mississippi Sea Wolves at 7:30 PM this Tuesday night and the Columbia Inferno at 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday night at TECO Arena. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. Tonight's guest in Naples will be defenseman Matt Pagnutti.

GAME NOTES: This will be the first meeting between the two clubs this season. The Everblades are 9-2-1 all-time versus the Sea Wolves and 5-2-0 at TECO Arena. Mississippi ranks tied for 3rd place in the Central Division. Florida was 2-0-0 versus Mississippi last season.
Friday, December 12th vs. Columbia 7:30 PM/EST
GAME NOTES: This will be the first meeting between the two clubs this season. The Everblades are 8-6-2 all-time versus the Inferno and 5-2-1 at TECO Arena. Columbia ranks tied for 2nd place in the Southern Division. Florida was 3-4-1 versus Columbia last season.
Saturday, December 13th vs. Columbia 7:30 PM/EST
GAME NOTES: This will be the second meeting between the two clubs in as many nights. The game will feature the Blades annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or unwrapped toy to toss on to the ice after the Blades score their first goal. The game is also the first of six televised games on UPN-8.

Friday, December 5th vs. Greenville 6-1 W
The Florida Everblades (13-4-4) began a five game home stand by defeating the Greenville Grrrowl (4-12-2) 6-1 in front of 5,453 at TECO arena. With the win, the Everblades maintained their first place position in the Southern Division.
Saturday, December 6th vs. Greenville 4-2 W
The Florida Everblades (14-4-4) completed a two game sweep of the Greenville Grrrowl (4-13-2) Saturday night by a score of 4-2 in front of 5.710 at TECO arena. The victory allowed Florida to remain unbeaten at home in regulation this year and in first place in the Southern Division.
