Las Vegas, NV-The Las Vegas Wranglers were idle over the past week with an 11-day break between games. The Wranglers last played on December 3rd at home, beating the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 4-2. The win extended the Wranglers unbeaten streak to 11 games at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers head back into action this Sunday in Fresno at 5:00 pm.

There Is No Place Like Home
The Las Vegas Wranglers continue to be the hottest team in the ECHL at home. The Wranglers have a league-high 11-game unbeaten streak at the Orleans Arena going 10-0-1. Las Vegas' 10 home victories are tied for the ECHL league lead. Las Vegas has amassed 20 out of a possible 22 points at home for a winning percentage of .954. The Florida Everblades are the only other team in the ECHL without a loss in regulation at 8-0-2. The Everblades have a winning percentage of .900. The Everblades are the only team in the league to hand the Wranglers their overtime loss at the Orleans Arena on November 5th. The Wranglers started their unbeaten string on Opening night October 17th and it has lasted for the first two months of the season.
Engelland Recalled to Lowell
Defenseman Deryk Engelland was recalled to the Lowell Lock Monsters over the weekend. This is Engelland's second stint of the season in Lowell. Engelland has played 13 games with the Wranglers this season with one goal and two assists. The Chetwynd, BC native also posted 29 penalty minutes. The 21-year old scored his first professional goal (also game-winning) against Alaska on November 29th. Eneglland has played in six games for the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL with zero points.
WRANGLERS IN THE COMMUNITY
Las Vegas Wranglers players will be making appearances in the community to visit with local elementary school classes, as well as delivering the bears collected during the Teddy Bear Toss to patients at Summerlin Hospital this week.
Tuesday, December 9th at 1:30pm, two Wranglers players will be visiting the students at Ronnow Elementary. Also at 1:30pm, four Wranglers players and the Duke will be making their second visit to Sunrise Acres Elementary.
On Wednesday, December 10th at 1:30pm, two Wranglers players and the Duke will be visiting the patients at Summerlin Hospital. The remaining stuffed animals will be delivered to patients at Spring Valley Hospital next week.
On Thursday December 11th at 1:30pm, two Wranglers players will be visiting a physical education class at Manch Elementary.

Wranglers Coach to be honored on Sunday in Fresno
The Las Vegas Wranglers Head Coach/General Manager Glen Gulutzan will be honored at the Save-Mart Center in Fresno on Sunday. Gulutzan's "#21" jersey will be retired by the Falcons before the Wranglers game at Fresno. Gulutzan is the Falcons' all-time leading scorer and was named to the WCHL All-Star team twice in 1998-99 and 1999-2000, when he served as the team's Assistant Captain. The Wranglers' Head Coach played six seasons in Fresno, with the last four as a player/assistant coach.
