NORFOLK, V.A. - Justin Florek scored two game-tying goals and Colin Stuart had a game-winning goal for the second time in as many nights as the Providence Bruins defeated the Norfolk Admirals 4-3 at the Scope on Saturday night, sweeping the weekend series. The Bruins ended their road trip with seven out of a possible ten points.

In the opening period, David Warsofsky scored his second point of the weekend when he launched a wrister through the slot, which Cory Kane tipped past Ryan Faragher at 2:28. Less than a minute later, William Karlsson tied it up at a goal apiece with a one-timer from the left side of the slot. Fifteen seconds after the home team scored its first goal, Stefan Noesen got three straight shots on Malcolm Subban just in front of the crease, and his third rebound caromed to Max Friberg, who deposited it into the back of the net for a 2-1 advantage.

The Admirals had nine shots in the first 4:30 of the game and had a 16-8 edge after a frame. Before the period came to an end, Providence had two great scoring chances: Stuart had a shot from the slot saved by Faragher's shoulder, and Ben Sexton zipped a wrister off of the crossbar.

In the middle period, Florek notched a game-tying goal of his own. Andrew Cherniwchan looped around the net, hacked a backhander off of Faragher, and Florek beat him gloveside to the rebound. Each team had a dozen bids on the opposing goaltender in the second, though Providence had the first six, and Norfolk had only a pair through the first ten minutes.

Noesen put his team back up by a goal with a slapper off of the post and in from the left side of the slot at 3:17 of the third, but Florek scored a game-tying goal for the second period in a row. Warsofsky fed him with a no-look drop pass in the left wing circle, and Florek's top-shelf wrister made it 3-3 at 9:32.

With only 0:25 remaining in regulation, Seth Griffith intercepted a pass in the neutral zone, which created a 2-on-1 with Stuart. Stuart one-timed it into the net for the Bruins' first lead of the game.

The Bruins will spend the entirety of their three-in-three at the Dunkin Donuts Center next weekend. Friday's game is at 7:05pm against the Hershey Bears.
