February 28, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
St. John's IceCaps News Release

Connor Hellebuyck posted a team-record 50 saves as the St. John's IceCaps shut out the Worcester Sharks 2-0 Saturday night at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

Jason Jaffray with his sixth goal of the season and Chase Balisy with his 14th, scored for the game's only goals.

The IceCaps took advantage of a five-minute elbowing penalty to the Sharks' Jimmy Bonneau early in the contest by sniping a pair of powerplay goals.

Jaffray opened scoring at 14:01, wiring a wrist shot from the top of the left face-off circle past Sharks goalie Troy Grosenick. John Albert and Keaton Ellerby were awarded assists.

Balisy made it 2-0 when he walked in from the corner unmolested and found the back of the net at 14:39. Scott Kosmachuck and Brenden Kichton picked up helpers.

The IceCaps' next action is at home, March 6th and 7th vs. the Albany Devils. Catch all the action with broadcaster Brian Rogers (8:30 p.m. NST) at www.stjohnsicecaps.com, 930AM and www.ahllive.com.
