Rockin' Baja Lobster will host a kickoff party at its Old Town location this Sunday, Mar. 1 from 4 - 8 p.m. "We are very excited to be an inaugural cooperate partner of the San Diego Gulls and officially kick off the partnership on Sunday during the Anaheim Ducks road game at Dallas," said Rockin' Baja Lobster President Rick RiRienzo. About Rockin' Baja Lobster

In the summer of 1983, Rockin' Baja Lobster introduced the Puerto Nuevo style lobster dinner to this side of the border. Then in 1985 the menu and decor at The Old Bonita Store Restaurant were converted into that of a Puerto Nuevo style lobster house serving Baja style lobster dinners as well as many new lobster specialties created by Chef Juan and owner, Rick DiRienzo.

In May of 1992, Rockin' Baja Lobster was persuaded to open its Puerto Nuevo style restaurant at the Oceanside Marina. It was there that Rick and his wife came up with the idea of Rockin' Baja Lobster: the prototype of many more to be opened along the Southern California coastline.

Rockin' Baja Lobster invites you to "Relax awhile Baja style," kick back, drink an icy cold beer or margarita, have a shot of tequila and enjoy the good times at Rockin' Baja Lobster.
