
Stars schedule extra broadcasts

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars President John Pettit, in conjunction with Mediacom, announced the schedule for the most recent edition of the Iowa Stars television show, Iowa Stars Extra.
The Stars current version of Iowa Stars Extra will air on Mediacom this Monday, December 18th. Monday's broadcast time is scheduled for 4:30 PM. The show will also air on Thursday, December 21st at 9:30 PM, and on Friday, December 22nd at 11:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
The show will include the following Stars: Forwards Marty Sertich, Vojtech Polak, Defenseman Greg Amadio and Stars Head Coach Dave Allison. The most recent edition of Captain's Corner has two very 'lucky' Stars players that get put-on-the-spot by Iowa Stars Captain Marty Wilford. Wilford invites Defenseman Nicklas Grossman and Forward Marius Holtet to join him in the Swede vs. Norwegian 'hot seat'.
The Connections Channel is Mediacom's statewide network that provides Iowans with coverage of state and local sports and community events. It is located at channel 22 for most areas of the state. Check local listing for your community's Mediacom Connections Channel (Ch. 74 in Iowa City; Ch. 18 in Northwest Iowa).
IOWA STARS INFO: The Stars wrap-up their four-game road trip with a Wednesday evening game in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They return to Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, December 22nd. The Dec. 22nd game is a 4 for $40 night. Get four $21 tickets for only $40! In addition, the first 1,500 fans will receive a FREE Iowa Stars Santa hat. Doors open for all home games one hour before face-off. Bring a group or hold your child's birthday at a Stars game!
