Florida reassigns forwards Larman and Booth to Rochester

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that center Drew Larman and left wing David Booth have been reassigned to Rochester by the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.

Larman returns from his third recall by Florida. The Buffalo native was recalled on November 30th and played in nine games with the Panthers. He scored his second NHL goal on December 12th versus Anaheim. This season, the forward has played in 12 games with the Panthers and has two goals. With the Amerks, he has six goals and two assists in 14 games. He signed with Florida as a free agent on September 28, 2005.

Booth returns to Rochester after playing in three games with Florida. On December 12th he recorded his first NHL point/assist versus Anaheim. The recall was his second of the season. The left wing spent a four-game stint with the Panthers in mid-November. Booth has three goals and six assists in 18 games for the Amerks. He was the Florida Panthers' second-round selection (53rd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Amerks complete their five-game homestand this Friday night, before hitting the road for one game before the Christmas holiday. Rochester (20-6-1-0, 41 points) is in first place in the North Division and second overall in the Western Conference.

The Amerks will take on the Toronto Mariles in a 7:35 p.m. contest on Friday, December 22nd at The Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. Santa Claus will be making a special appearance at the game. Wendy's - buy one, get one ticket free vouchers will be available for this contest. Fans can pick up their vouchers at any participating Wendy's. The game will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280-AM WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks. It will also be televised live on TWSN.

On Saturday, December 23rd, the Amerks will head to Binghamton to take on the Senators at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05 p.m. This game will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280-AM WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks. The contest will also be televised tape delayed on TWSN.
