
River Rats recall LW Mike Angelidis from ECHL Florida

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats today announced that left wing Mike Angelidis has been recalled from the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.
Angelidis had 10 goals and eight assists with 54 penalty minutes and a plus-7 rating in 24 games with Florida this season. The 21-year-old Woodbridge, Ontario native completed his fourth season with Owen Sound of the OHL last season, recording 53 goals and 25 assists with 167 penalty minutes in 68 games. He was signed by Carolina as a free agent, July 21, 2006.
The River Rats will look to extend their winning streak to five games Wednesday,
December 20, when they host the defending Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears at 7
p.m. at Pepsi Arena - soon to be Times Union Center. Tickets for Wednesday's game
