Solar Bears Host First Responders Night on Saturday, February 20

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that the team will hold their annual First Responders Night and Guns n' Hoses game on Saturday, Feb. 20. The Guns n' Hoses game will begin at 2 p.m. and the Solar Bears host the Indy Fuel at 7 p.m. Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A. is the presenting sponsor of both events.

The fourth annual Guns n' Hoses game features the Central Florida Enforcers (Police team) against the Orange County Fire (Fire Department team) at the Amway Center at 2 p.m. The Central Florida Enforcers are raising money for C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) while the Orange County Fire are raising money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation to assist children with cancer.

The Solar Bears will wear special First Responders jerseys during their game against Indy, and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a cell phone wallet, sponsored by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A. The Guns n' Hoses teams' chosen charities will be the beneficiaries of the 50/50 drawing and Chuck-a-Puck contest during the Solar Bears game.

Fans who purchase tickets to the game between the Solar Bears and Fuel at 7:00 p.m. will receive complimentary access to the Guns n' Hoses game at 2:00 p.m. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. for the Guns n' Hoses contest and 6:00 p.m. for the Solar Bears game. Fans are also invited to attend a pre-game Block Party at Harry Buffalo from 4:00 p.m. until the start of the Solar Bears game. The block party will continue after the game, including an appearance from Solar Bears players.

The Solar Bears continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A., when they host the Indy Fuel on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center.
