
Joe Faust and Ben Johnson Assigned to Adirondack

Albany, NY - The Albany Devils have reassigned defenseman Joe Faust and forward Ben Johnson to the Adirondack Thunder.
Faust, 24, has collected nine points (2-7-9) and a +5 rating in 35 games with Adirondack this season. The Bloomington, MI native ranks fourth amongst Thunder defensemen in point, highlighted by a two-assist performance on December 18 against Norfolk and his first career ECHL goal on December 16 against Elmira. The University of Wisconsin graduate has also appeared in two AHL contests this season with Albany, where he has a +1 rating.
Johnson, 21, appeared in 12 games with the Thunder this season after making his debut in mid-December. The Calumet, MI native has collected six points (3-3-6) with Adirondack, including a two-goal outing on December 18 in Norfolk. Johnson also tallied the game winning goal in his final contest to date with the Thunder on January 18 in a 3-1 win over Reading. The former Windsor Spitfire skated in three games with Albany in 2016 and picked up his first AHL point of the season, an assist on February 5 against Providence.
