Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

The Edmonton Oilers announced today that they have recalled defenseman Dan Smith from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Smith, 29, has appeared in 15 games for the Bulldogs this season, earning two assists and 15 penalty minutes. This is the second recall for the native of Fernie, B.C., who was originally recalled on November 4, going scoreless and posting seven penalty minutes in seven games with the Oilers.

The Bulldogs next game will take place on Friday, December 2, when the Toronto Maple Leafs AHL Affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, visit Copps Coliseum for the third time this season. Both teams will be wearing specialty jerseys honouring the rivalry between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Toronto Argonauts. Tiger-Cat and Argonaut players and alumni will be in attendance. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at Copps Coliseum Box Office (in-person sales only), any Ticketmaster outlet, online at ticketmaster.ca, or at Sports Obsession in Jackson Square.
