
Rivermen create new ticket package for the holidays

Peoria, IL (December 1, 2005) - Director of Ticket Operations Jim Small of the Peoria Rivermen, the proud primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, today announced that the Rivermen have designed a new ticket package especially for holiday gift-giving.
Known as the "Holiday Pack," the newest Rivermen ticket package includes the following seven prime home games:
Saturday, December 31 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs New Year's Eve Celebration
Saturday, January 14 vs. Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights CEFCU Rivermen Mouse Pad Night
Saturday, January 28 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins Caterpillar Fleece Blanket Night
Friday, February 24 vs. Cleveland Barons Appearance by Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders
Saturday, March 4 vs. Milwaukee Admirals Appearance by Napoleon Dynamite character "Pedro"
Friday, April 7 vs. Chicago Wolves OSF/Children's Hospital of Illinois Rivermen Cap Night
Friday, April 14 vs. Iowa Stars UFS/Ashley Furniture Fan Appreciation Night
Each Holiday Pack includes one (1) Upper Bowl ticket to each of the games listed above at a total cost of $73.50, which is less than the total cost of six regularly priced tickets. Holiday Packs are now available for purchase at the Rivermen business office in the Twin Towers Plaza office building in downtown Peoria or by phone by calling Jim Small at (309) 676-1040, extension 106.
The Rivermen are a proud new member of the AHL. Founded in 1936, the AHL now serves as the primary development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams and is celebrating its 70th anniversary season in 2005-06.
