Smith Joins Gladiators

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have acquired defenseman Chris Smith in a trade with the Greenville Grrrowl for cash.
The rookie out of Holy Cross College began the season with the Wheeling Nailers where he picked up an assist in 10 games. Smith did not tally a point for the Grrrowl after being picked up off of waivers by Greenville.
The Greenwich, Rhode Island native played in 99 games in three seasons for Holy Cross College where he totaled 21 points in three seasons along the blueline.
Smith should be available for the Gladiators when they battle the Generals tonight at 7:05 p.m. in Greensboro.
