Nashville Sounds News Release
MEMPHIS -- Tonight's scheduled contest between the Nashville Sounds and Memphis Redbirds, scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m., has been postponed due to rainfall associated with tropical storm Katrina at AutoZone Park.
The game will be made up as part of a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader on Wednesday evening. The teams will play two seven-inning games that night.
The Sounds and Redbirds will attempt to dodge the raindrops and begin their series with a 7:05 p.m. contest on Tuesday night at AutoZone Park. Nashville right-hander Wes Obermueller (3-1, 2.61) heads to the hill to face off against Memphis right-hander Anthony Reyes (7-6, 3.82).
