
Coolbaugh and Klassen named PCL all-stars

Round Rock, TX) - The left side of the Round Rock Express infield was named to the 2005 Pacific Coast League All-Star team today. The prestigious team is selected annually by vote of the PCL's field managers and media representatives.
Shortstop Danny Klassen and third baseman Mike Coolbaugh were selected to the All-Star team. Both players were recognized for their outstanding work in the field and at the plate.
Klassen was batting .319 with 15 home runs and 53 RBI before being sidelined on July 23 with inflammation in his left elbow. Klassen holds a .973 fielding percentage having only committed eight errors in 293 total chances.
Coolbaugh was batting .281 with 27 home runs and a league-leading 101 RBI before being hit by a pitch and breaking his left hand on August 19 in Nashville. Coolbaugh also leads all third baseman in the PCL with a .968 fielding percentage. He committed only 11 errors in 349 total chances. Coolbaugh also participated in the Triple-A All-Star game in Sacramento this year.
