
San Jose Sharks Recall Devin Setoguchi From Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Devin Setoguchi from the Worcester Sharks, San Jose's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
Setoguchi, 21, became the first Sharks player to score two goals in his NHL debut on Oct. 29 at Dallas. In all, he posted eight goals and two assists in 24 games with San Jose before being reassigned to Worcester on Dec. 28. In two stints with Worcester, he posted 9 points (1-8=9) in 12 games.
The six-foot, 205-pound native of Taber, Alberta was originally selected by San Jose in the first round (8th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The Sharks return to the DCU Center for an action-packed weekend vs. Portland on Friday and Providence on Saturday. Lukas Kaspar collector's cards will be given away to the first 3,000 fans on Friday. The Sharks will feature their black alternate jerseys for another Black Friday, and free massages will be available on the concourse, courtesy of the Salter School of Massage Therapy. Also, Baystate Financial Services will be holding a coat drive before the game. All fans that donate a new or lightly used coat will receive a ticket voucher for a future Sharks game.
On Saturday, the Sharks host the Bruins and the first 3,000 fans will receive a Joe Thornton bobblehead doll compliments of News Talk 580 WTAG. New England Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph and Mascot Slyde will also attend to help celebrate "Massachusetts Youth Soccer Night." Sharks players will sign autographs during the second intermission as part of Saturday Night Signings. Opening face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. After the game, visit Boston Billiard Club as Worcester Sharks players will serve as celebrity bartenders.
