Schaefer/Payer pledge to raise funds

HOUSTON, Texas - Two Houston Aeros players have set up performance based programs and are asking for pledges to benefit their respective foundations. Center Serge Payer and goaltender Nolan Schaefer have each set up a program that will raise money for separate foundations based on their performances on the ice.

Fans can pledge to donate money for each goal and assist that Payer earns beginning February 1st and concluding on April 9th. All pledges raised for the points he scores will go to his foundation, the Serge Payer Foundation, for research and treatment of .
