Royals Announce Expanded Benefits For Season Ticket Holders

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that Royals' season ticket holders can gain admission to all home games 15 minutes earlier (5:45 pm) than previously permitted and that season ticket holders can exchange any unused 2005-06 season ticket for a free mezzanine ticket to one of three upcoming Redemption Night games.

With respect to the early admission benefit, beginning at the next Royals' home game (Saturday, February 4 against the Wheeling Nailers), season ticket holders will be permitted to enter the Sovereign Center at 5:45 pm through the entrances located at 7th and Cherry Street and the Royal Club Entrance (8th and Penn Street). In order to gain early admission, the season ticket holder must present his or her season ticket or season ticket holder identification card. The admission time for all other patrons of Royals' home games will remain at 6:00 pm.

With respect to the Season Ticket Holder Redemption Nights, the Royals have identified three games in which season ticket holders can exchange any unused 2005-06 season ticket for a mezzanine ticket: (1) Tuesday, February 28 v. Greenville Grrrowl; (2) Tuesday, March 21 v. Wheeling Nailers; and (3) Tuesday, March 28 v. Wheeling. Unused season tickets must be exchanged in advance or on the night of the redemption game at the Sovereign Center Box Office. Redemption night privileges are subject to ticket availability.

The Royals return to action Saturday night in Dayton for the start of a three game road trip: @ Dayton (Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 pm); @ Toledo (Wednesday, February 1 at 7:00 pm); and @ Wheeling (Friday, February 3 at 7:00). The Royals return to the Sovereign Center on Saturday, February 4 (7:00 pm), when they will face the Nailers again. On that night, the first 2500 fans in attendance will receive a Royals' poster courtesy of the Reading Eagle. Royals' game day broadcasts can be heard on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata and www.royalshockey.com with pre-game beginning 30 minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available through the Royals' website on a pay per view basis provided by B2 Networks.
