
Ice Pilots Pick Up Point vs Greenville

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots picked up a point with a 4-3 overtime loss vs. Greenville on Friday night at the Pensacola Civic Center.
Nick Lindberg started the scoring for the Ice Pilots scoring his ninth goal of the season at the 15:58 mark of the first period to give the Ice Pilots a 1-0 lead.
Brock Radunske tied the game with a goal at the 14:58 mark of the second period and Les Haggett scored at the 11:59 mark of the second period to give Greenville a 2-1 lead.
Allan Siros gave Greenville a 3-1 lead with a goal at the 17:38 mark of the third period. The Ice Pilots Adam Courchaine scored with four seconds left in the second period to make it a 3-2 game.
The Ice Pilots tied the game at 3 when Chris Heid scored with 20 seconds left in regulation time on the power play to force an overtime. Rory McMahon scored the game winning goal for Greenville at the 1:27 mark of overtime to give Greenville a 4-3 overtime win.
The Ice Pilots had 31 shots on goal, 10 penalty minutes and went 1-4 on the power play. Greenville had 36 shots on goal, 12 penalty minutes and went 1-4 on the power play. David Cann picked up the overtime loss in goal for the Ice Pilots and Cam Ellsworth was the winning goalie for Greenville.
The Ice Pilots record goes to 15-22-4 for 34 points and Greenville improves their record to 25-11-1 for 51 points.
The Ice Pilots will play Greenville again Saturday night at the Pensacola Civic Center at 7:05 p.m. It is Military Appreciation Night. The Ice Pilots will wear special Military jerseys during the game and half of the jerseys will be auctioned off after the game.
