
'Blades make adjustment to roster

FRESNO, CA - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Paul Cabana and defenseman Martin Tuma have been activated from the 7-day injured reserve list and forward Greg Black has been placed on the 7-day IR. As per club policy the injury was not disclosed.
Cabana returns to the lineup after missing the last four games. Cabana suffered an injury during Florida's 5-4 overtime win over the Stockton Thunder on January 14. The 27-year-old returns to action having scored points in the last six games he's played, notching five goals and five assists. Overall this season Cabana has tallied 31 points (17g, 14a) in 30 games with the Everblades.
Tuma returns to the Everblades lineup after missing the last 13 games since suffering an injury on Dec. 27 at Augusta. The 20-year-old native of the Czech Republic has four assists in 26 games this season. Tuma, a 5th round draft pick by the Florida Panthers in 2003, is in his rookie season after spending two seasons at the junior level with Sault-Ste. Marie of the Ontario Hockey League.
Black makes his first trip to the IR since he was signed to a contract on January 10. The 23-year-old has played in six games with the Everblades, notching one goal and collecting 17 penalty minutes. The native of Kamloops, BC missed all of the 2004-05 season with an injury after splitting his rookie season in 2003-04 between Peoria of the ECHL and Worcester of the American Hockey League. Prior to turning pro, Black spent five seasons with Seattle of the Western Hockey League, scoring 143 points and adding 700 penalty minutes in 258 career WHL games
The Everblades return to action on Friday, January 27 when they host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena. Everblades half season, group tickets, and individual game tickets are on sale now! Fans can purchase tickets at the Germain Arena box office, which is open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
