WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers got all three of their goals on the power play and Andy Chiodo stopped all 31 shots he faced to defeat the Trenton Titans 3-0 at WesBanco Arena.

The Nailers broke the scoreless tie eight minutes into the first period when Brandon Hodge's centering pass deflected off of a skate and past Rejean Beauchemin. Luis Tremblay was given credit for the tally, his tenth of the season.

Wheeling was able to extend its lead to 3-0 in the early going of the second period with the help of two more power play goals coming 2:27 apart. Tremblay ripped a one-timer top shelf for his second of the night after Fata notched his ninth of the year at 2:26 of the middle frame.

Andy Chiodo registered his first shutout of the season, while Beauchemin fell to 3-7-1 after stopping 30 of 33.

The Titans finished 0-for-4 on the power play and 5-for-8 on the penalty kill.

Trenton next takes the ice on Friday, February 1 at 7:30 pm against the Johnstown Chiefs. Tune into WBCB 1490AM or go to www.trentontitans.com to hear all of the Titans action.
