Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Greg Hogeboom was named as the CCM Vector ECHL Rookie of the Month for the month of November. Hogeboom, playing in his first full pro season, scored three goals and assisted on twelve others in the ten games he played for the Royals in November. Hogeboom, a native of Etobicoke, Ontario, had at least one point in seven of those ten games, and in six of them picked up more than one point, including a streak of five consecutive multi-point outings from November 11 through 25. One of his three goals during the month was a first goal-game winner in the Royals 5-0 win over Trenton on November 22. During the month, Hogeboom played at a plus five and was re-called to Manchester for one game. A fifth round draft pick of the Kings in 2002, Hogeboom has continued his scoring trend into the month of December, as he is currently riding an eight game point streak, during which he has bagged five goals and picked up eleven assists.

The Royals play in Johnstown, Pennsylvania against the Chiefs on Friday night (7:30 p.m.), and then will return home to take on the Long Beach Ice Dogs this Saturday night (7:05 pm) at the Sovereign Center.
