
Lalonde Runner Up for Player of the Month

STOCKTON, Calif. - Stockton Thunder left wing Mike Lalonde has finished runner-up for the CCM Vector ECHL Rookie of the Month honors for the month of November.
Lalonde, 23, compiled 10 points (8g-2a) during the month of November and currently leads the Thunder with nine goals for the 2005-06 campaign. A native of Chetwynd, British Columbia, Lalonde twice posted two-goal games, both resulting in Thunder victories (4-3 overtime win on November 5 at San Diego, and 4-2 win on November 20 at Dayton).
Reading Royals forward Greg Hogeboom, a prospect under contract with the Los Angeles Kings (NHL), took top honors for the monthly award.
The Thunder returns to play on Friday, December 9, with a 7pm game at Rabobank Arena against the Bakersfield Condors. The game can be heard live on the internet (free-of-charge) and is available for a $6 "pay-per-view" rate at www.stocktonthunder.com, courtesy of B-2 Networks.
