
Parenteau back to Portland, Battaglia in time for Friday

The Augusta Lynx announced that forward Pierre Parenteau has been recalled to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League, and that forward Anthony Battaglia is expected to join the team in time for Friday's game against the Greenville Grrrowl.
Battaglia was acquired along with defenseman Chris Leinweber and future considerations in a deal for forward Colt King, defenseman Treavor Peterson, and the rights to defenseman Ed Hill. In 216 pro games, the 26-year-old left wing has amassed 63 goals and 126 points, setting career marks in goals, assists, and points each of the last two seasons. With Utah this year, Battaglia had seven goals and 17 points for the club in 21 games. The 6-0, 195 lb. Chicago, Ill. native also skated in nine games for the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League in 2002-03, recording no points or penalty minutes.
Parenteau appeared in two games with the Lynx on a conditioning assignment, recording one assist and an even rating with the team.
