Rob Schremp Assigned to Sound Tigers on Conditioning Stint

MANCHESTER, NH (Oct. 29, 2010) - The New York Islanders announced Friday morning that they have assigned forward Rob Schremp to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on a conditioning stint.

Schremp was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 1 after suffering a back injury in a preseason game against the New Jersey Devils. The former first-round pick played in 44 games last year for the Islanders, posting career highs in goals (7), assists (18) and points (25). The Fulton, NY native is scheduled to dress and play in the Sound Tigers game this evening against the Manchester Monarchs at the Verizon Wireless Center in Manchester.
