Albany Devils Sign Leaderer to PTO Contract

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Devils have signed defenseman Dave Leaderer to a professional tryout contract, Albany and Trenton General Manager Chris Lamoriello announced Friday. Leaderer will join the team for tonight's game at Providence at 7:05 p.m.
Leaderer, 24, has a goal and an assist in four games for Trenton this season. Since joining the ECHL Devils for the 2008-09 season, he has played in 148 games, posting 22 goals and 41 assists. A four-year letterwinner at the University of Massachusetts, Leaderer appeared in 149 consecutive games and registered 11 goals and 22 assists.
