
Rivermen to Open First Round of the 2004 Kelly Cup Playoffs on the Road in Atlantic City

Peoria, Ill. (April 3, 2004) â The Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that they will open the Northern Division Semifinals in Atlantic City, NJ against the defending Kelly Cup Champion Boardwalk Bullies in Game One on Wednesday, April 7 at 6:05 p.m. CDT at Boardwalk Hall.
With a 4-3 home victory over the first place Wheeling Nailers on Saturday night, the Boardwalk Bullies clinched second place in the nine-team Northern Division with a 47-19-6 record for 100 points.
The Rivermen finished the 2003-2004 regular season with a record of 45-18-9 for 99 points.
Game Two will be played on Friday, April 9 on 6:05 p.m. CDT at Boardwalk Hall.
The series will move to Peoria for Games Three and Four (if necessary) on Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13, respectively. Game times are 7:00 p.m. CDT at Carver Arena.
Game Five (if necessary) will return the series to Atlantic City on Thursday, April 15 at 6:05 p.m. CDT at Boardwalk Hall.
Playoff packages, which offer Lower Bowl seating at $15 per game and Upper Bowl seating at $10 per game, are available by calling the Rivermen office at (309) 676-1040 x106. Individual playoff tickets for the Northern Division Semifinals are available for $16 per seat in the Lower Bowl and $11 per seat in the Upper Bowl by calling Ticketmaster at (309) 673-3200.
