
Peoria's Rennette, Hemingway Named C&T Hockey Products ECHL Plus Performers

PRINCETON, N.J. - Peoria center Tyler Rennette and forward Colin Hemingway
are the C&T Hockey Products ECHL Plus Performers of the Month for
March.
Rennette and Hemingway were both +19 in March while teammate Mike Hoffman
had the next highest plus-minus rating for the month with +16.
In his first professional season, the 23-year-old Hemingway led the
Rivermen in March with 14 goals, two shorthand goals and 24 points in 14
games. In his fourth season in Peoria, Rennette led the team with 16
assists and was second on the team with seven goals and 23 points in 13
games in March.
Rennette was plus in 10 of the 13 games he played in March and he finished
even in the other three games. He finished +3 in three games, +2 in three
games and +1 in four games. Hemingway was plus in 10 of the 14 games he
played in March and finished -1 in only one game. He finished +4 in one
game, +2 in 7 games and +1 in two games.
Rennette ranks fourth in the league in plus-minus rating with +33 while
Hemingway ranks second on the team in plus-minus rating with +27. Selected
in the second round (40th overall) by St. Louis in the 1997 NHL Entry
Draft, the 6-1 and 180-pound Rennette leads the Rivermen with 65 points and
is tied for the team lead with 30 goals. Selected in the eighth round
(221st overall) by St. Louis in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-0 and
195-pound Hemingway has scored 42 points (19g-23a) in 35 games with Peoria
while also scoring two points (2g-0a) in 13 games with Worcester of the
American Hockey League.
