
Chiefs Wrap-up Regular Season with Win

Trenton, NJ- The Johnstown Chiefs finished the 2003-2004 regular season Saturday night, posting their 45th win, with a 4-2 victory over the Trenton Titans at the Sovereign Bank Arena.
The Chiefs will host the Reading Royals, Monday night at the War Memorial in the Northern division wild card game. The winner of the game will go on to meet the Wheeling Nailers in a best of five series that will begin Thursday night in Wheeling.
Dominic Forget had a pair of goals for the Chiefs. Chris Leinweber scored the game winning goal, on the power play 3:44 into the third period. Brent Bilodeau added an empty net goal. Bryce Cockburn and Scott Bertoli scored for the Titans.
Chiefs goaltender Dimitri Patzold made 40 saves, finishing the regular season with a 7-0-0 record. Titans goaltender Chris Houle made 17 saves in the contest.
The Chiefs finish the regular season with a 45-20-7 record. Trenton fails to make the post season for the first time in the teams five year history with a 37-28-7 record.
