Peoria, Ill. Christie also announced that rookie left wing Bobby Haglund has been waived.

Valley – a 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of Richmond, British Columbia – served as back-up goaltender for the Wolf Pack in two games before his return to the Rivermen on Friday, April 2. Valley left the University of Wisconsin after his sophomore season (1997-1998) to sign with the Canucks, spending parts of his first two seasons with their former AHL affiliate – the Syracuse Crunch.

Haglund registered two points (1g, 1a) and 20 penalty minutes in 13 games for the Rivermen.
