Rick DiPietro and Trent Hunter to Drop Ceremonial Puck Tomorrow

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Feb. 26, 2011) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced this afternoon that former Sound Tigers Rick DiPietro and Trent Hunter are scheduled to drop the ceremonial first puck at tomorrow afternoon's game against the Hershey Bears at 3 p.m.

DiPietro and Hunter were members of the Sound Tigers inaugural 2001-02 team which won the Eastern Conference title and appeared in the Calder Cup Finals against the Chicago Wolves. Both will be on hand to drop the puck prior to tomorrow's 3 p.m. game against the reigning Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears. Tomorrow's game will also feature the debut of Sound Tigers honorary throwback jerseys, and the Sound Tigers are also holding Pink Rink Day tomorrow to help support the fight against breast cancer.
