Heat Blanked by Bruins 4-0

Abbotsford Heat News Release


Abbotsford, B.C. - Providence Bruins forward Maxime Sauve scored twice and Michael Hutchinson would turn aside 30 shots as the AHL Bruins shutout the Abbotsford Heat 4-0 at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre.

Kirk MacDonald and Jordan Caron would add goals for the Bruins in the win, while Leland Irving would suffer the loss for the Heat. Irving was pulled midway thru the second period, with the Heat down 3-0. JP Lamoureux would mop up for the Heat in goal.

The Abbotsford Heat will meet the Providence Bruins for a rematch Saturday February 26th at the Abbotsford Sports and Entertainment Centre. Be sure to catch all the action on Country 107.1 with Dave Sheldon and Craig MacEwen. The pregame begins at 6:30 with the puck dropping at 7:00pm.
