Pitton Recalled from Stockton

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League recalled goaltender Bryan Pitton from the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL, Barons general manager Bill Scott announced today.

Pitton, a 6-3, 205-pounder from Mississauga, Ontario is in his fourth stint with the Barons this season. In three previous stays in Oklahoma City, he has posted a 2-1-0 mark, 2.74 goals against average and .914 saves percentage. He has played the majority of the season in Stockton, the ECHL affiliate of the Oilers. With Stockton, Pitton has a 16-7-3 record, 2.88 goals against average and .898 saves percentage.

Goaltender Scott Campbell, signed yesterday by the Barons, was released from his PTO.

Oklahoma City skates tonight at home against the Houston Aeros, the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild. Faceoff is set for 7:05 p.m. Sunday, the Barons travel to Cedar Park, Texas to play the Texas Stars, AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars. Both games can be heard on the flagship station of the Barons, 96.1 KXY.
