OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC hosts its second Energy Sidekicks event of the season on Wednesday, August 19 at the Express Clydesdales Barn from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at 12701 W. Wilshire Blvd in Yukon.
The Energy FC Sidekicks program serves to establish a relationship between Energy FC soccer players and athletes from the Special Olympics and TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer). Each player on the Energy FC roster is paired with a Special Olympics or TOPSoccer athlete and meet on multiple occasions during the season to form a permanent bon
Following a dinner, the players and Sidekicks will engage in a series of fun activities at the home of the world famous Express Clydesdales.
Energy FC's win last Saturday pushed them to the top of the standings in the Western Conference of the USL. The team returns to the pitch Saturday, August 29 when they take on the Austin Aztex at historic Taft Stadium.
