
Monsters Announce Preseason Schedule

The Lake Erie Monsters and Grand Rapids Griffins will meet for a pair of preseason games on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd. The games will mark the first action of the new season for the 2015-16 Monsters, who are entering their ninth year in Cleveland and first as the American Hockey League affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Two different "neutral sites" will house the preseason games. On Friday, October 2nd at 6:30 p.m., the Monsters and Griffins will play at the Bowling Green State University Ice Arena. Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 24th at 9:00 a.m., and are available at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling 877-BGSU-TICKET, or by visiting the BGSU ticket office in the Stroh Center. Ticket prices start at $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Fans can expect to see appearances from the Monsters entertainment teams during the game at BGSU.
On Saturday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. the Monsters and Griffins will meet at Windsor Family Credit Union Centre in Windsor, Ontario. Tickets for the game in Windsor will be $11.75 each and go on sale Tuesday, September 8th. The tickets will be available by phone at 1-866-969-WFCU, at the TekSavvy Box Office at the WFCU Centre, or online at www.wfcu-centre.com.

The Lake Erie Monsters are part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. The group also owns and operates the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League playing at Quicken Loans Arena and the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League playing in nearby Canton, Ohio at the Canton Civic Center.
