
"Rex" and Falcons ready for dogfight

The Amtrak Battle of the 99 is on! Your Fresno Falcons host the first place Stockton Thunder tonight at 7:30pm at the Save Mart Center in a Pacific Division Showdown! The Falcons are the defending Pacific Division Champions and are currently six points behind the First Place Stockton Thunder. The Falcons face off against Stockton four times in the next ten days.
The Falcons are proud to welcome "Rex" the dog to TONIGHT'S game to drop the ceremonial first puck on behalf of the supporters from Animal Rescue of Fresno (A.R.F.) The Falcons are celebrating A.R.F. Night at the Save Mart Center and the Fresno County Sheriffs Department's K-9 group will be represented by Deputy Ivan Janssens and his K9 partner, "Rex". This will mark the first time this season that a dog has dropped the first puck. (for more information on the Fresno County Sheriff's Department K-9 group please call Sgt. John's wife Laura Morlang is a Volunteer for A.R.F. and they will be joined by their dog "Daisy" to meet and greet the fans after the game.
