
May, Pszenyczny Selected To ECHL All-Star Game

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, are pleased to announce that center Scott May and rookie defenseman Dave Pszenyczny have been selected to the National Conference roster that will participate at the 2007 RBK Hockey ECHL All Star Game Wednesday, Jan. 17 at Qwest Arena in Boise.
May, 24, earns his first all-star selection and was selected as a starter for the National Conference through a vote by National Conference coaches, team captains, media directors, broadcasters and media members. The White Rock, British Columbia native and three-year professional leads the National Conference and ranks seventh in the ECHL scoring race with 13 goals and 31 points in 23 games. May, who is currently on loan to the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League, has recorded a team-high 10 multiple-point games and has produced three scoring streaks this season of four games or longer.
Pszenyczny, 21, also earns his first all-star selection. The Sterling Heights, Mich. native is tied for second among RoadRunners' rookies with two goals and 10 points in 22 games. Pszenyczny finished 10th overall among Ontario Hockey League defensemen last season with 15 goals and 53 points in 58 games between the Mississauga Ice Dogs and the Barrie Colts.
The 15th Annual ECHL All-Star Game will be at 7 p.m. MT on Jan. 17 and the 10th Annual ECHL All-Star Skills Competition will be at 7 p.m. MT on Jan. 16.
The RoadRunners travel to Long Beach at 8:30 p.m. tonight as they battle the Ice Dogs from the Long Beach Arena. Catch all the action live beginning with "RoadRunners Countdown" at 8:10 p.m. at www.phxroadrunners.com.
Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Saturday as they welcome back the Victoria Salmon Kings. It's the first of six "Guys Night Out" promotions of the season presented by Classic Rock 100.7 FM KSLX and Coach & Willie's.
