STOCKTON, Calif. * The Stockton Thunder, an ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers, has announced in conjunction with the ECHL that rookie goaltender Devan Dubnyk, center Nathan Martz, rookie right wing Troy Bodie and defenseman Beau Geisler have been named to the National Conference roster for the 2007 RBK Hockey ECHL All-Star Game in Boise, Idaho.

Martz and Geisler were named to the National Conference's starting lineup while Stockton sends a league-high four players to the contest. All four Thunder are making their first All-Star Game appearance in their career and represent the highest amount of players sent to the ECHL's mid-season classic in Stockton history, which will be played this season on January 17 at Qwest Arena.

OILERS PROSPECT DEVAN DUBNYK ADDS TO HIS RESUME

Dubnyk, 20, is scheduled to make his first All-Star Game appearance in his professional career. The 6-foot-5, 209-pound goaltender was selected in the first round (14th overall) by the Oilers in the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft and has gone 8-2-4 in 14 games during his professional rookie season with Stockton, posting a 2.71 goals-against-average (ranking 10th in the ECHL) and a .914 save percentage.

Dubnyk won his first five starts of his career and is 2-1-1 in his last four appearances, garnering a 1.97 GAA and .918 save percentage.

The Calgary, Alberta native, also seleceted for Team Canada's roster for the upcoming Spengler Cup Tournament, is the second Thunder goaltender to be selected to the All-Star Game. Former Stockton netminder Jake Moreland represented the Thunder at last season's ECHL All-Star Game, played in Fresno, California.

NATHAN MARTZ NABS HIS FIRST ALL-STAR SELECTION

Assistant captain and 25-year old Nathan Martz makes this year's selection to the All-Star Game the first in his three-year career, scoring 21 points (5g-16a) through 16 games with the Thunder this season. Martz is tied for the team lead in assists and led the Thunder in scoring before being placed on the seven-day injured reserve list on December 13.

Martz's most productive stretch came between November 17 and December 2, putting together a six-game assist streak and scoring 14 points (2g-12a) in seven games. Originally selected in the fifth round (140th overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Martz has scored 129 points (37g-92a) in 148 career ECHL games, spanning three seasons between the Thunder and Long Beach Ice Dogs. The Chilliwack, British Columbia native tallied a career-high 57 points (16g-41a) in 65 games for the Thunder in 2005-06, finishing second on the team in scoring and assists.

OILERS PROSPECT TROY BODIE POWERS TO NATIONAL RECOGNITION

Bodie, 21, is making his first appearance in the ECHL All-Star Game. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound right wing was selected in the ninth round (278th overall) by the Oilers in the 2003 National Hockey League Entry Draft and has scored a team-leading 11 goals (ranked tied for third among ECHL rookies) and ranks second on the Thunder with 21 points (11g-10a) in 22 games with 53 penalty minutes. Bodie currently ranks tied for fourth among ECHL rookies in scoring.

The Portage La Prairie, Manitoba native has scored three goals and three assists in his last three games and appeared in two preseason games with the Oilers in September, with Edmonton going 1-1-0 with Bodie in the lineup.

BEAU GEISLER GARNERS FIRST ALL-STAR APPEARANCE

Geisler, 25, is scheduled to make his first All-Star Game appearance this January after leading all Thunder defensemen with 20 points (4g-16a) in 22 games, collecting a +7 rating. The Coleraine, Minn. native is tied for the team lead with 16 assists and is tied for seventh among all ECHL defensemen in scoring.

Geisler's most productive stretch this season came between November 12 * 23, where he scored at least a point in five straight games and tallied seven points total (3g-4a).

Through 72 career ECHL games, Geisler has tallied 39 points (8g-31a) with the Thunder and Reading Royals, along with an 11-game stint in 2004-05 with Manchester of the American Hockey League where he scored a goal and assist.

The Thunder drew 228,364 fans to Stockton Arena in its inaugural season, the ECHL's best attendance mark for 2005-06.
