
Rays vs. Checkers Tonight

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and Charlotte Checkers will face-off tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. with the Benito's Pre-game Show kicking off with Mike Kelly, "Voice of the Rays" at 6:50 p.m. on ESPN Radio 910 the Team.
South Carolina and Charlotte are currently battling for the last playoff spot in the division. The Stingrays currently lead the Checkers 58 points to 57 points.
The Rays are 26-19-6 this season and are in fifth place in the division. They are 14-9-4 at home, 4-3-3 in the last ten games, and have gone into extra time in three of their last four games.
Charlotte, just one point back, is 27-20-3 this season. The team is currently on a one-game losing streak after their 5-2 defeat against Toledo last night. The checkers are 13-10-3 on the road and 5-5-0 in their last ten games.
South Carolina is 2-4-1 against the Checkers this year.
