Friday, February 23, 2007 -- 7:05 p.m.
vs Las Vegas Wranglers
Game two of a three-game series
LAST GAME vs Las Vegas: Victoria held a 3-1-0 record versus Las Vegas, before the Wranglers had even stepped on the ice at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this season. However the Pacific division leaders were ready for battle on Wednesday night.
The Wranglers posted three goals in the first period, two of them 32 seconds apart from Marco Peluso and Steve Crampton, and the third from Defenseman Aaron Power.
Las Vegas added a powerplay goal in the second period from Nick Anderson, and Kelly Czuy earned his ninth goal of the season with a tally nearing the end of the third stanza.
Mike McKenna notched his fourth shutout of the season.
