Latendresse Reassigned To AHL San Antonio

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, an affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have announced that center Olivier Latendresse has been reassigned by the Coyotes to San Antonio of the American Hockey League.

Latendresse, 21, tallied eight goals and 20 points in 37 games with the RoadRunners after being assigned from San Antonio on Nov. 25. The rookie from LaSalle, Quebec has one goal and three assists in 11 games with the Rampage this season. Latendresse recorded a career-high 41 goals and 125 points in 70 games last year with the Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to finish fourth overall in the QMJHL scoring race.

In a separate transaction, the RoadRunners have traded forward Dan Riedel to the Toledo Storm in exchange for cash considerations. Riedel, 21, had two penalty minutes in 10 games with the RoadRunners after signing a free agent contract on Jan. 22.

Phoenix concludes their five-game homestand at 7:11 p.m. Friday as they welcome the Bakersfield Condors to US Airways Center for the first time this season. It's also "Puck Patrol" Appreciation Day. The first 2,000 fans will receive a poster of the RoadRunners' world famous "Puck Patrol" entertainment group.
