Grizzlies Fall In Boise

Utah Grizzlies News Release
Boise, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Utah Grizzlies 8-3 Friday at Qwest Arena in Boise.
Each team traded goals in the first with Jimmie Kraft scoring for Utah after the Grizzlies fell behind 1-0 early. D.J. Jelitto picked up an assist on the play.
In the second, Idaho stormed out with four goals to build a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes. The Steelheads outshot Utah 11-5 in the period.
An ugly third period combined two fights and five goals. Blake Robson scored for Utah to make it 7-2 at 15:52. Luciano Aquino tapped one in at the 19:59 mark to make the final 8-3.
The Grizzlies and Steelheads complete their series Saturday at Qwest Arena. Face-off is once again scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
Utah opens a six-game home stand Wednesday hosting Texas. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
