
Rattlers announce 2007 schedule

PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League have announced their schedule for their 16th year in existence. The 2007 season will open up at home against the Georgia Force where the Rattlers will meet up with former Defensive Coordinator Doug Plank on March 3 at 7:00 PM.
Week two will bring Danny White and the division rival Utah Blaze to the US Airways Center on March 10 at 7:00 PM. The Rattlers will play the Utah Blaze on the road when they travel to the EnergySolutions Arena on Friday, April 20.
The Rattlers, who have missed the playoffs just twice in their 15 years of existence, will meet up with divisional foes Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Jose for home and away battles.
The regular-season schedule will also include a home game versus the defending ArenaBowl world champion Chicago Rush, who will visit the US Airways Center on Saturday May 26 at 7:00 PM
All 19 AFL teams will play a 16-game schedule over 17 weeks with each team receiving one bye week. For the second consecutive year, 12 teams will advance to the AFL Playoffs, which will begin with the Wild Card Round on June 29. ArenaBowl XXI will be played on July 29.
The AFL's national, regional and local television packages will be announced shortly.
The Rattlers will kick off their 16th season in 2007. All home games will be played at the US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix. Rattlers season tickets can be purchased by calling 602-514-8383.
