Georgia Force News Release
FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force's sixth season begins at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at US Airways Arena in Arizona.
The Week 1 match-up will mark the return of Force head coach Doug Plank to Arizona, where he served as the Rattlers defensive coordinator for three seasons (2002-04). The Force will open their home schedule against the Southern Division Austin Wranglers on Sunday, March 11, at 3:30 p.m., at Philips Arena. Georgia will also have two contests between division opponents; the Orlando Predators, Tampa Bay Storm and New Orleans VooDoo, in addition to a final meeting at Austin. The Force's lone Monday night game will be against the Philadelphia Soul on April 9 in Philadelphia. Georgia's Bye Week will fall in Week 11, between games against defending National Conference Champion Orlando on Friday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m., in Philips Arena, and a Week 12 contest at Los Angeles on Saturday, May 19, at 10:30 p.m.
