Dallas Desperados announce 2007 schedule

Dallas Desperados News Release
The Dallas Desperados kick off the 2007 Arena Football League season on Sunday, March 4 against division rival New York Dragons. In addition to one more match up against New York, Dallas will also face division opponents Columbus Destroyers and Philadelphia Soul twice.
The Desperados will play in 11 games against 2006 playoff teams, including the ArenaBowl XX Champions Chicago Rush.
The Desperados begin the season by heading to New York to take on the Dragons on Sunday, March 4. The following weekend, Dallas kicks off their home schedule with a bout against the Tampa Bay Storm Saturday, March 10. The Desperados will then hit the road for two consecutive weeks, first to Kansas City on March 16, then to Orlando - who defeated Dallas in the Conference Championships last season - for a Monday night game on March 26. The Desperados return home to close out the month of March against interstate rival Austin Wranglers.
Dallas kicks off April hosting back-to-back divisional games, first against the Columbus Destroyers Thursday, April 5, then the Philadelphia Soul for another Monday night contest on April 16. The Desperados will head to Georgia to take on the Force Saturday, April 21 before playing host to the Nashville Kats on Friday, April 27.
The Desperados open the month of May at Utah to take on the Blaze Saturday, May 5 before hosting ArenaBowl XX Champions Chicago Rush on Friday, May 11. The Desperados will enjoy their bye weekend (May 18-21). Dallas returns to action at Columbus to finish off the month of May on the 26th.
Dallas ushers in June on the road, taking on the Philadelphia Soul on Friday, June 1. They then welcome the New Orleans Voodoo with a game at the American Airlines Center on Saturday, June 9. The Desperados close out their 2007 divisional schedule playing host to the New York Dragons on Saturday, June 16 before closing out the regular season in a Monday night game on June 25 at the Colorado Crush.
