Las Vegas, NV, November 29, 2006 - The Las Vegas Gladiators open their fifth season in Las Vegas on the road when they travel to Austin to take on the Austin Wranglers on March 4, 2007 at 1 PM PT.

Following a game on the road at Grand Rapids in Week 2, the Gladiators home schedule kicks off in Week 3 of the 2007 AFL season as Las Vegas hosts the New Orleans VooDoo at the Thomas & Mack Center on Sunday, March 18, 2007. Kickoff for the 2007 home opener is 3:00 PM PT.

"We feel it is an outstanding schedule which will provide our organization to be competitive and attract our fans in the area," said Gladiators General Manager Sam Jankovich." "We have made a decision to play our home games on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. with the exception of Easter Weekend which we will play on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The consistency of the times and day is extremely important so people can plan."

"We have to get out of the gates fast, playing our first two games on the road," said Gladiators head coach Danton Barto.

The Arena Football League's 21st Season schedule was released by the League office today. The Gladiators will play eight home games and eight road contests, with one bye-week, during the 17-week regular season.

The Gladiators will host Western Division opponents Arizona, Los Angeles, San Jose and Utah at the Thomas & Mack Center while also entertaining Kansas City, Nashville, New Orleans and Orlando.

All Gladiators home games, with the exception Week 6 vs. Kansas City, will be played on Sundays at 3:00 PM. The April 7 game vs. Kansas City will be play on Saturday night at 6:00 PM.

The Gladiators 2007 road schedule features four in-division games at Arizona, Los Angeles, San Jose and at Utah, as well as trips to Austin, Colorado, Georgia and Grand Rapids.
