
Meylor Named IFL Offensive Player of the Week

Glendale, Ariz. - After a standout performance in his debut with the Arizona Rattlers, quarterback Max Meylor has been named the Indoor Football League Offensive Player of the Week the league announced Wednesday.
Meylor threw three touchdown passes and ran for two, accounting for 233 of his team's 292 total yards. He completed 12 of 19 passes for 217 yards and was the Rattlers' leading rusher with 37 yards on the ground.
Meylor started the game off with the first of his three passing touchdowns, a 32-yard score only three minutes into the game. He kept the momentum with a 21-point second quarter, and the Rattlers led the San Diego Strike Force at the half, 28-13. He then scored two more touchdowns in the second half to lead the team to a 49-27 victory.
Meylor and the Rattlers will travel to Indiana for Week 2 to face Fishers Freight on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. MST. They return home to host the San Antonio Gunslingers April 11 at 6:00 p.m. MST.
